Two different artistic worlds meet in one space at Prãgiedruliai: ZZYZLA’s “Two with Oneself.” and Remigija Vaitkutė’s “The Practice of Silence”.

🔴 ZZYZLA is the pseudonym of Elžbieta Danieliūtė. The name itself is a small act of rebellion against all the rules and the notion of how things “should be done”. This is reflected quite accurately in her creative practice. Elžbieta brings together fashion, photography, music, film and performance. She enjoys experimenting, challenging established standards and transforming ordinary things into something new. Her work is filled with darkness, irony and an intention to create a beautiful kind of chaos. She does not try to make everything comfortable or easy to understand. Perhaps that is where the beauty lies – not everything needs to be explained.

Elžbieta is the winner of the 2025 REVIVE Sustainable Fashion Festival, where she presented her collection “Do You Believe?”. She is also an alumna of the Prãgiedruliai residency programme, during which she continued exploring her artistic practice and created the work “I Believe.”

⚪️ Remigija Vaitkutė is a metal artist, jewellery maker and professor at the Telšiai Faculty of Vilnius Academy of Arts. From 1977 to 1982, she studied metal art at the Telšiai Technical School of Applied Arts. She continued her studies at the Tallinn State Art Institute from 1982 to 1987, specialising in metal art and earning a Master's degree.

Since 1998, Remigija has been working at the Metal Art and Jewellery study programme at the Telšiai Faculty of Vilnius Academy of Arts, where she has held the position of professor since 2018. She is a member of the Lithuanian Artists' Association and has been exhibiting her work since 1988.

⚪️ Throughout her artistic career, the artist has held five solo exhibitions and participated in nearly one hundred group exhibitions. Her works have been presented at various international jewellery and medal art exhibitions and art fairs, including Metalofonas, the Baltic States Medal Art Triennials, the international jewellery exhibition and competition “My Home”, and ArtVilnius. Since 2018, she has also been a regular participant in the international art festivals at Cered Art Colony in Hungary.

🔴 Both exhibitions are open until 29 November.
