Creative Residency Presentation | Marija Kavtaradze and Greta Grinevičiūtė
The Prãgiedruliai Creativity Center will welcome film director and screenwriter Marija Kavtaradze and choreographer, dancer and dance filmmaker Greta Grinevičiūtė for a five-day creative residency.
During the residency, the artists will explore women’s relationship with their bodies, bringing together choreography, cinema, text and live presence. Their creative process will seek new artistic ways of addressing embodiment, beauty standards, sexuality, shame and freedom.
Their collaboration is rooted in an interdisciplinary approach – a meeting of different artistic disciplines in which text and the body become equally important tools for storytelling.
