The 'Art ar neart' residency program is intended for artists researching the topics of artificial intelligence, automation of creative work, and cultural technologies. The program provides an opportunity to create and live in Panevėžys for a month, either to initiate new projects or to continue already-started ideas. Artists are invited to reflect on how technology is changing our creative processes, perception of craft, genius, and craftsmanship through their projects. Participants are encouraged to get involved in the activities of Pragiedruliai and to organize open study events.
CONDITIONS OF RESIDENCE
The duration of residencies is one month (either September or October). The artist will present the project and/or research implemented during the residency in the 'Art ar neatart' festival program on November 24-26.
The resident will be provided with:
· Accommodation at Pragiedruliai.
· A 1500 EUR scholarship.
· Curatorial assistance in implementing the project or involving the Panevėžys community.
· Introduction to the local art scene and artists.
· Necessary funding or budget for project implementation can also be allocated.
