Residencies

Residencies

Pragiedruliai residence programs are intended for Lithuanian and foreign creators of various fields - artists, researchers, representatives of creative industries, and other creative activities. They are given the opportunity to live and work in Panevėžys, in the picturesque Skaistakalnis Park, surrounded by nature right next to the Nevėžio River. The neighborhood is home to industries that have great potential for art-industry synergy. During the programs, creators work on individual projects and get involved in local community and cultural activities.

Arriving residents have the opportunity to live in the studio of the manor in the park, use the common kitchen, and create in a separate space. The resident has the support of a supervisor throughout the program. It is also possible to use the equipment of other studios operating in the homestead, upon prior arrangement.

Community garden

A communal natural garden is being created in Pragiedruliai. The community is creating a naturalistic forest garden open to the public. City residents are given a piece of land in the very center of the city, in the city's oldest park. The garden is open to courageous, environmentally friendly tests, experiments, ideas, and initiatives of residents. Mineral fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, and other chemicals are not used in the garden. Gardeners are provided with the necessary tools, advice is given on planting issues, and raised beds are installed for the disabled.

The garden invites everyone who wants to garden to join.
