On August 8th, the Panevėžys Creativity Center “Pragiedruliai” presented the result of the international project “Restored History” – a new virtual route through the oldest park in Panevėžys.
Twelve interactive augmented reality stations invite visitors to explore around the homestead of poet Juozas Čerkesas-Besparnis, where long-lost buildings reappear in real space, historical scenes are reconstructed, and stories of the past are told. This route combines nature, cultural heritage, and modern technology, offering an immersive experience for every visitor.
The project is implemented by the Panevėžys Creativity Center “Pragiedruliai” together with partners from Lithuania and Latvia under the Interreg VI-A Latvia–Lithuania Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2021–2027.
We invite everyone to visit Skaistakalnis, try the route, and see history through a new lens!
