As Valentine's Day approaches, the Panevėžys Creativity Center "Pragiedruliai" will host special creative glass workshops, where participants will have a unique opportunity to craft personalized glass jewelry—brooches, pendants, earrings, or magnets. These workshops will be held at the creativity center for the first time.
Workshops Led by a Glass Artist from Seattle
On February 8, the workshops will be conducted by internationally recognized glass artist Mark Eckstrand, who moved to Panevėžys from Seattle (USA) 18 years ago. Eckstrand has established glass studios in both America and Europe and has participated in various art exhibitions. Constantly exploring new ways to use glass in art and practical applications, he shares his knowledge with local communities. His creative journey brought him to Lithuania, where he began collaborating with local artists and educational initiatives.
Workshop participants will not only spend time creatively but also learn how to work with glass. This workshop is not just a great opportunity to create a unique Valentine's Day gift but also a chance to acquire new skills, learn about glass processing, and immerse themselves in the art of this discipline.

Painting Workshops
In February, the "Pragiedruliai" art studio will also host newly launched painting workshops titled "I Love You Very Much". Participants will be invited to paint with acrylics on cardboard canvases.
"Of course, you can simply print a photo, but isn’t it wonderful to give your loved one a hand-painted picture? During the two-part workshops on February 7 and 11, you will have the chance to create a unique piece by painting over a photo you bring along," invites artist Jolita Puleikytė.
More Events
The "Pragiedruliai" team also invites you to join other creative workshops taking place throughout the month. From clothing renewal with textile dyes, lino printmaking sessions, and analog photography printing workshops to improvisation and theater photography training with well-known artists.
