Arts and Industries Residency

Paulius Oficerovas is a theatre director, video artist and documentary filmmaker whose work combines a distinctive visual aesthetic with performing arts and socially engaged themes.

During the residency, a short experimental documentary film was created about waste thrown away in the city of Panevėžys.

The documentary depicted the candid reality of what happens to their waste in an authentic and non-moralising way. This was revealed through artistic means, without telling off, without pointing fingers, but through long, monotonous, even meditative shots that make you think and encourage to take actions.
